GOING GRAY!, New Layout || Winner: Always Keep The Faith Contest Options

HAPPY NEW YEAR !

It's not quite Chinese New Year (that will be on Valentine's Day this year!) but Happy Year of the Tiger, too (hence the colours above)!


FIRST;

In this new quarter, we welcome our "Going Gray" layout! It’s winter for most of us so gray is an appropriate colour for this season. Special thanks to ST☆RTIST Mai (- - -Rain) for the banners, background and buttons for this gorgeous layout. It’s a brand new look for a brand new year! Not to mention that I'm totally loving how the profile picture matches the layout perfectly 8DDDD;

SECOND;

Since we’ve been out of touch with each other due to DBSK being on hiatus and with the holiday rush, we thought it would be nice to have an impromptu IN:COM chat on Friday, January 22-Saturday, January 23, 2010. Tina will post a reminder in Massage Therapy soon for those of you who have not participated in chat before. Hope you will be able to make it!


THIRD;

It's a new quarter, so posting our ongoing call for donations (IMG:style_emoticons/default/love.gif)

We are asking for membership donations to help offset the costs of running this forum. Right now, we have enough to cover the next license fee, but since I can no longer afford to pay for all the fees on my own, by the time early December 2010 comes around, we will need some financial assistance (assuming DBSK is still together and we will continue to maintain this forum).

At any time during the year, if you can spare a few dollars here and there, every little bit will help. Since this post is open to the general public, I won't be posting the contact information here so please PM me if you are able to donate (United States dollars please) <3 As noted in our original call, please don't feel obligated to donate if you are not able to <3

All donators are recognized in the pinned thread in the Juice Bar and thank you in advance for your help!

Special recognition and thanks go to Jessica (jesshee) for her donation which paid for our ISP fee for 2010, and a portion of the renewal of our Invisionize license for December 2009 ~ April 2010. The remainder of the license renewal fee came from Chula (chula). Thank you to both of you!


FOURTH;

Dum duh duh dum! I'm sure many of you are anxiously awaiting the results of our "Always Keep The Faith" contest! We had a number of entries from four IN:COMers and all of them were absolutely great. We have such talent here that it was difficult to choose just one winner ~ and the honour goes to:

Elaine submitted a number of entries, but the entry that earned her this award was her oneshot entitled, "After the Light Fades". In light of the DBSK hiatus/lawsuit and uncertainty of the future of the band, this was incredibly touching. Elaine, you win the DBSK 3rd Asia Concert "Mirotic" in Seoul DVD set (release date 2010.01.26). I will be ordering it from the website and having them ship it directly to you so please PM me when you receive it so that I know the order went through (:

A number of submissions also came from Gissi (Gissi_Weezy), Junita (Mocha Caramellatte) and Toni (rainhero18). I have runner-up prizes, so held a random drawing to determine who would get which prize. Toni, you win an IN:COM t-shirt, Junita, you win a Hello Kitty pen and a set of cute envelopes that I picked up from the Japanese store here, and Gissi, you win a set of Hello Kitty keyboard stickers containing the English alphabet but also showing the Hangul alphabet. I wasn't able to take a picture of the actual stickers I have for you, but they're similar to the ones shown here (credits to nothingelegant@artfire.com).

Winners, please PM me with your full name and mailing address with subject line, "00; Always Keep the Faith Winner". (As a random note, to those of you who won the Back to School Goods Contest, I have your envelopes ready to mail, but have not been able to get to the post office.) I will try to mail everything by the beginning of February at the latest so thank you all in advance for your patience.
